Brookfield Corporation is a global investment company that owns and operates real assets (such as infrastructure, renewable energy, real estate, and private businesses), and also controls one of the world’s largest alternative asset managers. In simple terms, Brookfield both invests its own capital and invests money on behalf of institutions like pensions, sovereign wealth funds, and insurance companies.
